The boat was purchased by my dad for the RYA as a coach / mark laying boat for the BT match racing tour. He then brought the boat and kept her in Burnham where she was used for dingy coaching and mark laying. The outboard has been serviced annually regardless of hours by the same dealer.Tubes were replaced in Hyperlon by Henshaws in 2014.

Tubes hold air all summer i never need to top them up. (soften a bit in winter when colder - as you can see in one photo taken last week)
Annual insurance that covers the boat for 17,500 & the trailer for 1,500 costs me about £300 / year.
My opinion is she is one of the best RIB's you can buy. Extremely seaworthy and stable. Once the two seats slide out the back then loads of room should you need it. Some people have built a bench seat across the back which looks great and is ideal for relaxing. We used the boat a bit for Kitesurfing from & a bit of wakeboarding. The wake isn't massive so not a substitute for a proper wake boat (Mastercraft) (Good for mono skiing though)
Tornado have a great reputation - follow the link below & see that they haven't really changed the design
